Born on the 25th of July, 1960 in Lahore, Mian amer Mehmood is the first Nazim of the City District Government Lahore.

After having done his M.B.A from the Punjab University, he chose education for a career and launched the famous Punjab Group of Colleges in 1985 that culminated into the University of Central Punjab and Mohammad ali Jinnah University, Karachi.

This is one of the greatest success stories when it comes to higher education in private sector.

Dear Mr Mehmood, I am an ex-student of your colleges, as well as also going to NMSU. I am writing to you because you have taken over my hospital in Rahim Yar Khan and made it into yet another college. I am a shareholder in this hospital, as well as the rest of my family, and we have never been given anything in way of payment or compensation for the hospital which you have made into your college. Since i have met you a few times i thought before taking the matter to court i should simply write to you directly asking you to pay us our rightful share, as well as compensation for the loss of many years of earnings since you have been running your college on this property for many years.
